Philosophy: The success story of Loints of Holland began in 1918 with the shoemaker C. Klijsen. In a small barn, Klijsen laid the foundation for today’s production. A simple and distinctive design created in 1970 has become the trademark style of Loints of Holland shoes ever since.
Loints shoes are known by a few different names; a fact that can be confusing at times. Loints of Holland shoes are known as either Loints or Lnts, the only difference between them being where you are in the world.
The Dutch are known throughout the world, just like their Loints shoes. You will find these shoes worldwide, often under their nickname "Lnts". The hometown of Loints of Holland is Sprang Capelle, also being where the production takes place. Loints of Holland will only work with suppliers from Western Europe who comply with strict European laws and regulations. The tanneries of these shoes work without using benzidine or PCP and have modern waste treatment plants. No CFCs are used during the production of PU soles to ensure optimal protection of the ozone layer. When was Loints of Holland founded? In 1918, shoemaker C. Klijsen had the goal of creating unique and distinctive shoes. His plan was finally implemented 52 years later with the production in his shoe factory. Klijsen’s personality and style can still be found to this day in each design of Loints of Holland.

We were first introduced to the Dutch company Loints over ten years ago. The women’s 57321 boot was the first Loints of Holland item that we were introduced to. They left a lasting impression, and the same model of ankle boots are still found with us today in the Dutch collection. That speaks for the company’s lasting style that customers have enjoyed for years. That speaks for the model 57321 that has endured the changing fashions of the last decade.
